This piece of rare Fossil Tree Fern grew during the Jurassic Period around 183 million years ago in Lune River, Southern Tasmania Australia. From the species Osmundacaulis, this piece is a stem cross section with rhizomes (not polished). These rare tree ferns are replaced by Agate & Jasper. 12.8cm x 9.3cm x 1.8cm. 295 grams.
