Fossil fern is a result of approximately 185 million years ago, a Jurassic forest near Lune River, Tasmania, was buried under ash and lava, subsequently replaced by colorful agate and jasper. The fossilized fern is uncommon, making its inclusion in a necklace stack notable; it also features a solid brass backing that can be reversed to provide a totally different look.
