This 8.40 carat semi-crystal opal was cut from a fossil sea shell. It comes from Coober Pedy in South Australia. This opal is a super bright , showing a wide spectrum of colours, lovely soft yellow, orange, red, electric purple and vibrant green. This stone displays a flag stone or semi harlequin pattern and has sections of rare straw pattern. 20 mm x 18mm
