A beautiful necklace of very high grade amber from Tanai Katchin State, Burma. Burmese amber (Burmite) is known to be around 100 million years old and is denser than other ambers, making it perfect to be worn as jewellery. This transparent, yellow amber is very rare so a huge amount of time has gone into sourcing the amber and shaping the beads to complete a necklace such as this.
