Heirloom necklace of 60 carnelian , quartz, chalcedony and fossil wood beads that range from 8mm to 35 mm across . I purchased this necklace from my friend Daw MiMi a Chin textile dealer in Yangon , Burma in the year 2000 . She told me that it was collected one bead at a time over many generations and was worn constantly by her family over several hundred years .
