With gemstones sourced by hand from Tasmania, Australia and remote parts of the world, Rare and Beautiful combines the skillful knowledge and creativity of the owners to make unique jewellery. Rare natural materials from Tasmania’s wilderness are used, such as Killiecrankie diamonds (topaz) and fossil Man Fern, Australian opals and emeralds, and ethically sourced stones from overseas, such as Burmese jade and amber.  Raw  minerals, fossils and cut gem stones also feature as part of this unique family-run brand. 

A range of iconic Tasmanian seashells have been made into silver, and 22ct Gold plate pieces, forever preserving part of Tasmania’s coastline.
