This ikat is from East Sumba Indonesia. This is an unusal black cloth with Potola Ratu ( Kings flowers) pattern. This is reserved for Royalty and was inspired by Indian trade cloths. It is a nice Ikat,unstitched sarong. 1980's. 158 x 115 cm.
