A wonderful bronze childs bracelet from remote fortified Wonga village on the north coast of Sumba Island. This bracelet is at least 500 years old probably much older, it shows great signs of wear and has a wonderful patina. It has been described to me as an initiation bracelet, a slave bracelet and as a bride price bracelet. Its true history has been lost in the sands of time. 94 grams
